Key responsibilities:
- Provides technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers and customers during the sales process.
- Responsible for the development and use of a set of software tools to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Quotations, Orders and Order Changes.
- Ensure Team providing techno commercial proposal support to the Sales Force across
- Manage FTAP – Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer projects and personnel in ensuring projects/proposals meet required quality and on time.
- Provide guidance to FTAP Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer personnel in product selection, cost effective sizing and mechanical design.
- Ensuring FTAP Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer team have necessary support, training, program to perform their tasks.
- FTAP Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer people development
- Coordinate FTAP Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer collaboration with other supporting functions in APAC – Sourcing, PM, Eng, and Risk Assessment
- Coordinate FTAP Application Engineer/Proposal Engineer activities with APAC commercial team ensuring target margin are met.
- Manage FTAP TIS – AE team and development
- Ensure FTAP TIS – AE projects/proposal meet required quality and on time
- Provide Technical Leadership for his/her market
- Create impact; Drive Total Fluid Management in the Accounts / market
- Lead as an ambassador, strategist, and negotiator
- Develop and maintain Strategies and Opportunities via Initiatives and specific projects
- Over site market (Trends & Drivers, Competition, Technology, Partners)
FTAP: Fluid Technology and Asset Protection Business Unit
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Location – (Pune - India)
- 14-16 years experience in relevant field and industry
- Experience in people leadership (handling a team)
- Experience in working in fabricator/EPC as proposal manager/engineering manager (in addition to Business development)
