The role is to be located on-site in Cortland, New York.
Summary:
To manage all aspects of site Quality and Regulatory Affairs activity to support business objectives and defined CVD’s. This includes the implementation of effective quality management systems aligned to corporate and BU policies, procedures and industry specific requirements. High degree of customer focus to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Leadership, development and mentoring of an effective quality team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Implementation of effective QMS in line with Corporate, BU and local requirements
- Continuous improvement of Core Value Drivers in support of quality and business growth
- Manage customer complaint CAPA and NCR process providing escalation as appropriate
- Identification and implementation of controls and reporting to cover industry specific regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor and rigorously develop talent within the quality function
- Interface with supplier quality engineering function to drive supplier quality at plant and BU level
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / manufacturing or related field
- Prefer five (5) years or more of progressive quality assurance experience
- Prefer five (5) years of supervisor/leadership experience
- Must be proficient at Excel / Minitab and able to analyze and interpret data
- Applies advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of the field
- Thorough understanding of ISO 9001, GMP knowledge an advantage
- Understanding of the manufacturing business, ISO and cGMP knowledge is preferred
