The IT Manager Infrastructure leads a team of 4 professionals and is responsible for the daily running and innovation of IT systems and staff at manufacturing facilities that drive significant impact to the organization.
You will learn how our facilities operate and engage with the business in exciting projects to bring IT to the forefront of our organisation.
This position is part of the Client Technologies Infrastructure team and will be located in Hoegaarden (Belgium), with a hybrid working solution (up to 3 days from home), after an onboarding period of two months during which the person will have to be daily onsite.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide technical expertise on employees' devices, operating systems and applications, desktop management and support tools, server technologies
Ensure strong end user support and excellent customers' experience
Manage multiple, parallel projects and coordinate activities among internal departments
Perform a mature risk assessment, showing excellent judgment skills
Lead, mentor and develop team members based at different locations
The essential requirements of the job include:
A suitable degree in IT/ Computer Science/ SW Engineering
Relevant Experience within an IT Support environment
Strong experience managing multiple projects and coordinating projects participants
Excellent communications skills in English
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Be available when occasionally needed to provide/arrange out of hours support and coverage during National Holidays
Available to travel if needed
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Supporting manufacturing environments
