The IT Specialist (f/m/d) for Clinical Laboratory Solutions at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing technical support for Beckman Coulter IT solutions in Austria and parts of Switzerland. This position is part of the Diagnostics - Service - Support team based in Austria and will be fully remote with travel within a dedicated territory.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Technical support of the Beckman Coulter IT solutions such as Remisol, PROService, Command Central and their networking, both remotely and on customer's site
Installation, instruction and troubleshooting of the IT solutions
Ensuring the implementation of modifications, Planning installation and documentation for BCI and third-party IT Products
Contact person for customers and internal departments in IT-relevant questions (e.g. network technology, data security)
Interdepartmental coordination of IT projects
Technical advice to departments in the preparation for offers and tender preparation

The essential requirements of the job include:

Completed training as an IT specialist, 1-3 years’ experience as a systems integration technician or comparable knowledge in the medical IT field
Good knowledge of network technology (TCP/IP, VPN, RDP) and MS Windows products
Basic knowledge of data protection and data security
Good written and spoken German and English language skills
Willingness to travel up to 60%
You bring an open, team-oriented, customer-oriented personality with a high willingness for further education in self-study

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Knowledge of IT in medical laboratories and interfaces (HL7, ASTM) is desirable
Experience in a technical service organization ideally in the health care business
